HP16500 Z80 Probe Pod

$40.00

This handy board makes probing the entire bus of a Z80 CPU easy.
WIth on-board terminators, the 40-pin probe cables from HP Logic Analyzers can plug directly into this board without the need for expensive probe pods, giving the user direct access to the CPU address and data buses and various control lines. Four spare probe pods allow the user to add flying leads to probe other various points on the PCB.

Nintendo / Donkey Kong Switchers

After a little bit of informal 'market research', I've found that most people only want to switch between 2 boards in their cabinets (there's not a lot of love out there for DK3 -- or special forces -- or 8-Ball Action, apparently).

The current design is quite nifty and supports daisy-chaining of a virtually unlimited number of PCBs, but requires more ICs and relays (and hence a higher BOM cost) than a simple dedicated 2 board switcher. I'll continue to send out the current design to testers, but I'll be doing a dedicated and lower cost 2-board switcher design as well. The upcoming JAMMA switchers will be sold in daisy-chain version only.

Strange Wiring In My Donkey Kong

Hmm... I came across some strange wiring in my Donkey Kong cabinet.

It seems like there's 3 boards wired up, and strangely, when I press P1 Start + P2 Start + Jump, the cabinet switches to a different game! Anyone seen anything like this before?!

Nintendo Vs. Switcher

$50.00

This adapter allows you to play both games installed on a Nintendo Vs. System motherboard in a Vs. Unisystem cabinet.

By default, Unisystem cabinets play only the game installed on the row 6/8 side of the board, and the game (if any) installed on the row 1/2 side sits idle. Using relays to multiplex the audio and video signals, and switches back and forth between the two games installed an the motherboard when P1 Start + P2 Start + P1 Button A are pressed together.

Nintendo Vs. Switchers are back in stock!

I finally had some free time to build / test / debug some Nintendo Vs. Switchers, and have a small quantity in stock and ready to ship. Get 'em while you can -- I don't plan on doing another run of boards for these.
